To advance the 'Deep Root Program', promote institute-enterprise cooperation and support the implementation of Jiaxing's strategy of building 'a city strong on smart manufacturing', the first session of the 'Shuimu Shanchuang' Institute-Enterprise Technology Cooperation Matchmaking Conference was held at Zhejiang Triple Win New Material Co., Ltd. on February 13. The event was jointly organized by the People's Government of Ganyao Town, Jiashan County and the Jiashan Innovation Center of the Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhejiang, and co-hosted by the Ganyao Association for Science and Technology, the Ganyao Sub-center of the Jiashan Innovation Center, and Zhejiang Triple Win New Material Co., Ltd. Authoritative experts in related fields, local leaders and enterprise representatives attended, including Hu Jun, Director of the Interdisciplinary Research Center of the Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Director of Xiangfu Laboratory (Nano Translational Medicine Center of the Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University). Before the meeting, Feng Yecheng, Vice President of the Institute, met with the relevant experts and enterprise representatives at the Institute.
At the matchmaking conference, the participating experts learned in detail about Triple Win New Material's company profile and technical cooperation needs. The two sides held in-depth exchanges and discussions on the iteration of water-absorbing polymer material products, the integrated application of nano-bubble technology, and the modification and improvement of EW velvet new materials.

It facilitated substantive technical cooperation between the enterprise and the Center's industrial internet research team on the intelligent upgrading of production lines. At the conference, the three cooperating parties held a signing ceremony. After the meeting, efforts will continue to turn the cooperation intentions reached at this technical matchmaking conference into concrete results.

Institute-local cooperation brings research resources down to town-level enterprises
In November 2022, the People's Government of Ganyao Town and the Jiashan Innovation Center of the Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhejiang reached a comprehensive strategic partnership to jointly build the city's first town-level sub-center of the 'Deep Root Program'. Since its establishment, the sub-center has surveyed more than 10 sci-tech manufacturing enterprises in Ganyao Town, precisely matching their needs in technology R&D, product breakthroughs and market development. Relying on the overall upgrading of the Ganyao innovation and entrepreneurship park, it also carried out investment and talent attraction, landing two projects with an output value of over 100 million yuan that year. Next, closely following the 'Digital + Smart Manufacturing' positioning, the town will promote the building of a 'Digital + Smart Manufacturing' industrial unit under the 'one institute, one park, one fund' model. It will continue to engage a number of listed companies on chain-supplementing and chain-strengthening projects in frontier fields such as robotics automation, edge computing chips, software services, and new energy and new materials. At the same time, it will promote the establishment of a 'Digital + Smart Manufacturing' joint enterprise innovation center and a university-and-research-institute achievement verification and transformation base, led by Tsinghua-affiliated institutes and joined by listed companies, landed enterprises and leading local enterprises in Jiashan. In the future, it is expected to offer a 'Jiashan-Ganyao example' for Jiaxing's effort to vigorously implement the strategy of building a city strong on smart manufacturing and accelerate the construction of an advanced manufacturing base and a digital economy highland in the Yangtze River Delta region.
